Meet Zach

Hi there everyone! My name is Zach, I came to the Olive Branch as a stray. When I was found I had a heavy broken chain attached at my collar and at only 35 pounds, I was severely malnourished. I was taken in and then the kind staff took me to the vet to be evaluated immediatly. Doc discovered that I was severly anemic and I had several bite wounds  but I have came a long way since that first day I have arrived here.  When I returned I was placed on a special diet and being fed small meals throughout the day to get the amount I needed at a slow rate. The kind staff have helped me get back to a happy healthy dog again! I have been  neutered, fully vaccinated, and my preventatives are current. I did test positive for lyme disease and have been treated with a 30-day cycle of Doxyxycline. I am a little shy of strangers at first, but food and treats win me over everytime. I would like to meet anyone in your home before you adopt me. If interested please visit our website and fill out an application to bring me home!
